Dr. Weiping Yu presents The Magnetic Universe: A New Foundation for Physics. He is described as a distinguished physicist and the Crew Spacecraft Structures Subsystem Manager at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.
Dr. Yu holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Physics and is internationally recognized for developing the Universal Particle Theory, or Uon Theory, a proposed theory of everything that seeks to unify gravity, electromagnetism, and quantum phenomena through a single elementary particle called the Uon.
His theoretical framework is presented as a bridge between Einstein’s Theory of Relativity and quantum mechanics. The PDF says his work introduces transformative concepts regarding mass, charge, and magnetism, and addresses phenomena such as dark matter, dark energy, black holes, the Big Bang, and atomic structure.
As an aerospace technologist and systems leader, Dr. Yu contributes to NASA mission success through spacecraft structures and subsystems. He is a member of APS, AIAA, and ASME, and co-hosts the weekly radio and podcast program Science & U, where he communicates complex scientific ideas to a broad audience.
The PDF also describes him as a mentor and advocate for the next generation of scientists and engineers, including through public outreach and the NASA/KSC Physics Research Forum.
